Miss Bigalow

Miss Bigalow

Safely Kept  Phantoms Gold

Miss Bigalow was a winner of a heat of the rich APG series and claimed 4th place in the $250,000 final in a racetrack career which netted 4 wins and $34,430 in just 14 trips to the track.  A daughter of Phantoms Gold, she counts as a half sister the $100,000+ winner Machinegun Molly.  She is a half sister to another 7 winners, four of those in better than two minutes.

As a broodmare, Miss Bigalow has not disappointed.  The first five of her living progeny have all won and we are eagerly following the progress of her lightly raced 3yo Brave Stride, to restore her claim to being a 100% producer.

Miss Bigalow’s third foal; Big Fella Mach has been her best performed offspring to date.  Although his racing career has been marred by soundness issues, he has shown enormous ability in achieving 17 wins and 8 placings in just 33 starts and banked $110,703 with a lifetime mark of 1:52.8 on his locker.

These are two of his most impressive victories:

Menangle - 26 June 2011
Menangle - 6 August 2011

Following Big Fella Mach, Miss Bigalow left Mister Onetwo.  Also lightly raced, Mister Onetwo has never run out of a place, having faced the starter 11 times for 5 victories and 6 placings to date, with big plans to build on that record.

Here is Mister Onetwo in action recently:

Bendigo - 12 December 2012

Next in line from Miss Bigalow is Karloo Mac. Purchased and raced by Barry and Ronda Lew, Karloo Mac has shown enormous potential and with careful management by Barry, he is developing a solid resume. To this point, he has raced 20 times for 4 wins, 5 placings and a lifetime mark of 1:57.9. Here are two of his victories:

Bathurst - 16 December 2011
Bathurst - 14 August 2012

We have a yearling colt form Miss Bigalow who will be sold at the APG Sydney sale in March. She has recently foaled a striking Art Major colt and been returned to the court of Mach Three in the hope of breeding a full brother or sister to Big Fella Mach.
